About

John Bagwell graduated from Trinity Baptist College in 1998 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Church Ministries.  Married in the fall of 1998, he and his wife left as Missionaries to mainland China, SiChuan Province, ChengDu city in August of 2000 where they served until April 2008.

Upon returning to the USA, he began working with older Singles and took over the responsibilities of the Children’s Ministries Director at Saks Baptist Church in Anniston, Alabama.  While working a full-time secular job, he took over additional responsibilities in the missions program and in the fall of 2009 Saks Baptist Church held it’s first annual Missions Conference.  He also had responsibilities leading the Men’s Ministry and Outreach Ministry.

He formally resigned his positions at Saks Baptist church in March of 2011 and left those positions after a transition period in December of 2011.

Currently, he is pursuing a Master of Arts Degree in Human Services with an emphasis in Marriage and Family Counseling, and is waiting for God’s leading as far as a position in another church whether as a regular member, or staff.  Until such time, John has felt led to simply be a help to others.

Part of that personal mission to be a help to others exists here on this blog, where he hopes readers, especially men, will find encouragement, hope, purpose, and maybe even answers to the questions that burn in the hearts of all who seek to serve God.
